Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I am passionate about learning and sharing music and much of my experiences include being involved with different music/art organizations online and in my home state, Massachusetts. Where I have worked with musician's at Berklee, Community Colleges, and even Arts high school's. Here is where I learned about performance/stage experience with big bands, and jazz bands. For beginning students on piano, I typically start with Piano Adventures. For beginning students on saxophone, I typically start with fundamentals like Sound production with long tones, embouchure exercises, A Tune A Day by C. Paul Herfurth. Once the student as progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce repertoire across several genre of music as well appropriate for their first recital performance. My passion for teaching began in my Junior year of high school in 2011-2012, when I spent 6 months teaching guitar lessons to elementary school students at a local YMCA after-school program. With a class size of approximately 10-15 students, I learned many valuable teaching methods for students of all backgrounds and learning methods. Later that year, I said goodbye to my students to move to Boston and attend Berklee College of Music, however, in summer of 2014, I revived my passion for teaching when I started a saxophone lesson program at Brighton's All 'Bout Christ church. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. If you wish to educate, you must inspire first. Each student is encouraged to proceed at a pace that is suited to their aptitude, goals, schedule and drive. Positive acknowlegement of achievements, clear communication and demonstration of techniques, opportunities to play with others at a similar level of growth and an atmosphere of musical community are key to the progress of my students.
