Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I use probably more of the Faber series than any other, but also use Bastien and Alfred piano books. I sometimes recommend all four,(Lesson, Theory, Tecnique, Performance) but often just use two - Lesson and Theory. Most kids can handle 3 songs a week, but sometimes only 2. I move methodically through the books, making sure they understand thoroughly an idea before moving too quickly ahead. I draw from many resources for recital songs -- especially if they are showing an interest in classical music. Read More
