After grade school, I went to Northwestern State University to study Music Performance on a Violin Scholarship. Eventually, I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's in International Marketing. I also took some guitar courses at Berklee Online. I've been touring professionally for 11 years and have been to all 50 states as well as 9 foreign countries. I'm a motivated and passionate teacher who loves to work with students, sharing my love for all kinds of music. I started playing piano when I was seven, and have regularly studied music under the tutelage of several wonderful and knowledgeable teachers ever since, and I continue taking private guitar lessons even today. I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music from Belmont University in 2017. I began Playing fuitar in the army in 1970, in Germany where I was stationed. I was inspired to play at a Deep Purple concert, I saw Richard Blackmore playing guitar and I knew that was it for me. I borrowed a guitar from a friend and began practicing and learning and playing. Eighteen hours a day every day until I got out of the army. When I got out I traveled from San Francisco to NYC and back plying in a few bands. Read More
