It was a very enriching experience to teach for such a young age, and very challenging to have so many students in the same class room! I have been playing guitar for 20 years and have experience playing live and teaching lessons. Music has always been a passion of mine ever since I was young and I feel very lucky that it has been such a big part of my life. In bands I'd often help out another guitar player with a certain part or with the songwriting process in general. I began teaching electric guitar and bass in high school. My approached involved a degree of a musical philosophy. Sometimes we would go outside and listen to the sounds of the train going by, the wind, the birds, cars etc in an almost meditative approach to learn to appreciate that music is all around us.
