I first started teaching in 2008 in Paris, for groups of 10 students. I have had 3-5yo classes, 6-8 and 9 to 12. It was a very enriching experience to teach for such a young age, and very challenging to have so many students in the same class room! I have since then moved to New York City, and have been teaching one on one lessons for piano, guitar and voice. I adapt to the student's needs and interests. Read More

I have been playing guitar for 20 years and have experience playing live and teaching lessons. Music has always been a passion of mine ever since I was young and I feel very lucky that it has been such a big part of my life. I play the electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, and piano. Currently, I play guitar in a cover band in New York City. This has been a super fun experience and has allowed us to play people the songs they know and love, and have our own musical and improvisational twists on it. Read More

I try to motivate students to practice at their own pace. Within a few lessons the student is working on playing some familiar songs. Letting them know that we can start to work on material they prefer is how I get them to work on necessary technique. Many of my students have been accepted into music schools and/or are performing regularly. Read More

I began teaching electric guitar and bass in high school. My approached involved a degree of a musical philosophy. Sometimes we would go outside and listen to the sounds of the train going by, the wind, the birds, cars etc in an almost meditative approach to learn to appreciate that music is all around us. We catch the musical wind with the sails of our instruments when we improvise. I also taught beginner's upright bass at a music camp. Read More
