I have always been into drum education. Ever since I was little I would watch drum educational DVD's and also took drum lessons which helped me become an inspired musician. I know love to give back and teach all levels and styles of drumming. I graduated from The University Of the Arts with a bachelors degree in Music Business, and Technology. For beginners, I have a special system that implements coordination while utilizing proper counting technique. As their understanding of their limbs grows the more I begin to welcome actual musical notation. This system has proven time and time again to tackle the initial issue that coordination imposes. In intermediate to advanced students I stress the importance of technique, quality of sound, coordination, visualization, and relaxation/movement. In the past six years, I have taught privately at the School of Rock in Downingtown and Guitar center in Lancaster. I have also done some group lessons with a Lancaster based nonprofit called Music For Everyone. I try to challenge my students every week with sight reading and ear training methods. Besides from drum set, I have access to congas, djembe's, marimbas, vibraphones and many other percussion instruments, so my students can grow not just as a drum set player, but as a percussionist as well.
