I graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2011 with a BA in Music, where I primarily focused on clarinet performance, as well as music theory and composition. If they are playing in band, I will use whatever their teacher starts with in band and progress from there. I like to sit with my students and have them learn about the parts of the instrument as well as getting to know their instrument.
