My lessons typically break down into three sections: Building Fundamental, Extending Techniques, and Making Music.  How much time is spent on each of these is dependent on the individual student and what they need to develop most at that particular time.  I always give students attainable goals for the next week, and a few long-term goals.  I find these goals help keep the student on task from week to week and give them something to keep striving for. I am an enthusiastic and compassionate instructor who loves to share my musical knowledge with those eager and willing to learn. I received a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Cleveland State University in 2018 and became a board-certified music therapist in January of 2019. With this degree and profession comes the knowledge and skillset of numerous instruments, including voice (my primary instrument), guitar, piano, and ukulele. I am a devoted musician and private lesson instructor in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharing my love for music with my students is a passion of mine, and I strive to help my students achieve success every day. I graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education in May 2020. Through music, I have participated in multiple community service opportunities, I was able to perform in a music video, I traveled to Ireland on a concert tour, and I performed for a crowd of 2,000 people at one of the nation's largest Irish Festivals in Dublin, Ohio.
