I have a Master of Music degree from Georgia State University with an emphasis in Vocal Performance/Opera Studies. Depending on the skill level of the individual I adjust the lesson plans. All students shall do their basic scales and preliminary sight reading. For beginners (of all ages) proper technique will be heavily emphasized. This will include posture and form. We will then evolve into basic classical pieces to learn and continue to build on the fundamentals. With intermediate students we will begin to learn advanced scales and proper audition techniques. Hi! My name is Alexandrea (Alex). I'm a 29 year old Atlanta native with over 20 years of performing experience and over 8 years of teaching experience. My first television performance was at the age of 7 on Showtime at the Apollo, and from there my career as a vocalist took off. I began teaching and provide artist development services at the age of 18 and developed a passion for it.
