We will then spend time learning (or reviewing) the basics and correcting any issues at the core of the study, such as breathing or posture. I have been teaching on and off since 2016. People would ask me for spontaneous lessons and I would meet them either in their home. Most of my lessons were on vocals or piano. During this time I would also teach trombone lessons after school. My lessons are always energetic and entertaining. I always try to keep them engaged by setting an achievable goals for them for that lesson. If a student doesn't have milestones that they have reached, then it decreases engagement and motivation.
