Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I like students to keep a practice notebook which we fill out during the lesson. Rather than being required to practice for a set number of minutes per day, we instead keep track of how many times an exercise or song is practiced. I do my best to cater to each individual students needs. For younger beginning studetns, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements, or whatever materials they are using in school. For all of my students, even the more experienced ones, I work on building fundamentals and extending techniques. Fundamentals are an essential cornerstone to build all other aspects of music upon.
