I hold four degrees in violin performance and have been teaching for nineteen years. I have worked with students ages 2-adult. I have trained students to be professional violinists and worked with countless beginners and amateurs. I enjoy working with all ages and levels. I teach a mixture of Traditional and Suzuki Methods. Open-minded and flexible, Nerea strives for her students to learn through fun, hands on activities, always leaving her lessons with smiles on their faces. Beginner students are always taught the basics of posture, positioning and how to move the bow on the strings. They then go on to learn bowing and the strings names, followed by finger position and musical pieces.
