Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I have spent the past three years living in Miami where I completed my Masters Degree in music education. During this time I was an active trumpet player in south Florida playing with orchestras, brass bands, jazz groups, and quite regularly latin bands due to the popularity of salsa/latin styles in that region. Whenever I give lessons, I set a teaching plan based on individual circumstances. I use the same materials the student uses in their school. I add material as I see fit as we go along, I have found it is more effective than trying to fit everybody into the same box.
