For all students, I begin with fundamental and foundational elements of singing such as breathing, musical terms, elements of music, etc. I use The Singing Book which includes instructional learning and solo repertoire, and can be used for any level singer. More specifically, I create my own lesson plan according to the student. No matter what the style the singer wants to perform, I firmly believe a solid base in classical technique can be transferred to any style. I consider myself resourceful to a voice student of any genre for building up good and healthy vocal techniques. I usually suggest repertoire to a student based on their level and/ or Voice type but I am also delighted to help a student with a repertoire of their own choice. At the end of the day, I want my students to enjoy what they sing. I encourage them to put themselves out there to go for competitions or holding their own recitals. Read More
