In college I studied the flute as well as other instruments such as piano, oboe, and percussion. On flute, I continued to perform all over the town as well as in many of the College ensembles such as the Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Chamber Winds, and Orchestra. Dating back to 2019, I was teaching students part time at the local middle schools in my hometown. I have since moved away and I am looking to get back into teaching. As someone who had gaps of time where I did not have a teacher, I feel that having someone there to encourage you to keep going and to keep learning is the most important to ensure success. I have my Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance and performed as a part of U.S. Army Bands. Over the years I have taught in music stores, band rooms, community centers, and my home studio.
