I'm a licensed teacher that enjoys sharing my passion for music. In December 2016, I graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education. Performing as part of Cedar Creek Community Band, Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra Pit has given me a variety of experiences to inform my teaching. I want to get them off and running. I teach them to read chord charts in the first month and have students reading notation in F and G clef in 5-6 hours worth of lesson time. Passion, commitment, and love are three words that I would say accurately summarize my feelings about music and the music industry. I was raised in a music home. There were few times in my life where music wasn't a paramount. In high school I was in marching band and jazz band. I loved these experiences so much that I wanted to major in music education in college.
