My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time. I have been consistently teaching students since 2018. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I will guide them through what the book cannot explain and help them truly internalize aspects of playing their instrument. With children who are new to music, I use my personal method, which is characterized by providing knowledge while playing interactive games, which helps the children grasp music-related issues. With the older students, I try to inspire them by playing duets, and placing emphasis on a variety of repertoire. Depending on the instrument I’m teaching and the skill level of the student I’m usually going to start of with a 10 to 15 minute session of evaluation and assessment of needs acquired skills and students desires .we can then begin with exercising proper warm up posture and position .and run through warm up scales and learn rutiments or attack the desired skill requirements straight ahead depending on the students development.Music is an art and a discipline.it is a relationship one has with there instrument.my songs and instruments become like family ,well charrished!!!!
