Hello! I'm a recent graduate from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Instrumental/Choral/General Education finishing up my student teaching. I'm an experienced, fun multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years of teaching and performing. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UW-Milwaukee and studied music at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. I have performed with many national acts throughout the US and Europe and also have collaborated with many artists as both a co songwriter, performer, producer and mastering engineer. For young, beginning students, I usually work from the Hal Leanard's Essential Elements mixed with separate, individualized exercises, usually intended for regular practice warm-ups. For students that have grasped the fundamentals, we will explore solo repertoire and etudes that are not only appropriate for their skill level but also interesting and fun to play.
