I have experience for more than 14 years teaching, where I had the great honor of forming a very good generation of musicians that today play with children, youth and high level orchestras in Venezuela and in other parts of the world. I love seeing students enjoy their music lessons! I typically begin the lesson asking the student how their practice went for them, allowing them to communicate their successes and struggles from the previous week's practice. According to each students' needs and wants, then I like to offer what I think they can benefit from and what they should learn to achieve the results they would like to see. Structure, discipline, dedication, fun, creativity, love and inspiration. Every person is different, therefore we as teachers need to adjust and be observant of each one's development, speed in learning, approach, interest and engagement. Read More

For beginning adults I try to determine exactly what they are wanting to achieve by starting an instrument at this point in life. For the beginner I determine what kind of talent they have and how to proceed with lessons. Learning an instrument is hard - and practice time at home is essential and must be consistent to progress.
