I taught my first trombone lessons when I was still in high school, and I've always felt a strong connection to teaching (my parents are teachers too). When I was getting my masters, I began teaching beginning brass classes at local elementary schools, and this expanded into several elementary band classes upon graduation. When I assisted in the academy, and jammed with the kids who were learning drums. I looked at their faces and nothing brought more joy to my heart that knowing that those kids found passion in music; the same way I did when I was younger. I cant wait to teach more formal lessons specially now that Im older.
