I'm a driven and patient teacher with a deep desire to learn and to share knowledge. I've been performing on piano/guitar/saxophone/voice from a very early age and have continued to refine my craft. I've performed in numerous musicals throughout K12 eventually leading to my time at UGA where I received my Bachelors in Music. From experience, I know that the voice changes as we grow, so I find it extremely important to be able to make sure my students have the grasp of proper technique and breath-technique. With this, as their voice changes and develops, they will find it much easier to grasp how to control it properly. During the hour lesson, I spend roughly 5-7 minutes warming up the voice, then we jump right into working on repertoire. My experience with vocal coaching started when I was a young girl helping to teach my church's choir parts for songs we had to learn. Once I went to college I joined the Gospel Chorale at Virginia State University where I helped guide the alto section for a month long European Christmas tour.
