My name is Kenny Redding Jr. and I've been teaching for 6 years. I began playing piano, drums and singing at the age of 4. Since then I studied and performed on multiple instruments including piano, vocals, viola, cello, non-pitched percussion, bass. My studies include Professional Music - Contemporary Writing Production at Berklee College of Music, Music Production at Full Sail University. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music. It is so important that each individual student progresses at his or her own ace. I encourage this progress by setting realistic and clear goals for my students at each lesson. When I acknowledge their accomplishments, it helps to fuel the desire to learn of the student and makes them eager to learn more. I love working with younger students because it's important to remind them of the importance of exercising your vocal chords properly. I also discuss the importance of eating the right healthy foods to maintain a healthy voice and lifestyle. I often invite the students to my events to encourage them to continue to be disciplined and learn all they can while they're young. I am a passionate and enthusiastic voice teacher! My training is in Musical Theatre, and that is my expertise, however I believe that any strong singer must start with proper technique and familiarity with his/her own unique intstrument. The voice is different than other instruments in that we carry it wherever we go, so it must be maintained with utmost care!
