I am a teacher that advocates the necessity to understand music as well as instrument proficiency. Whatever instrument is chosen to learn, I do use curriculum series to accomplish before we move to student's choice of music. My lesson style consists of working on fingering and plucking first from Essential Method Book for Strings or the Suzuki book (for the beginning students who are children). While they (children) are practicing, I encourage/ recommend them to memorize the songs if they can. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. I have been teaching violin to children and/or adults since 2018 and am currently a registered Suzuki teacher. I served as teacher for the violin program at Peace Music Academy, a music school in Khon Kaen, Thailand, before coming to Michigan and starting my private studio here. I have also taught at summer music camps for children, teaching group lessons, improvisation, and introduction to violin. I have been teaching students for over 10 years. In addition to piano, guitar, violin, and double bass private lessons, I have also taught group lessons. I taught a group piano lab for 5th graders. I taught group guitar lessons to camp students.
