For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Alfred piano series books( lesson, solo, theory and technic book) and Elementary method trumpet book, Essential elements.Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I also have taught workshops and masterclasses around the country. In 2018, I taught a beginning music class through the Morse Fellowship program at Juilliard.
