George has been a church organist and director for 46 years. He is currently the assistant organist/accompanist at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Naperville, Illinois where he works with Matthew Sprinkle who is the director of sacred music. Mr. Felty is also set up at the church to teach private piano students in the Naperville, Wheaton, and western suburbs of Chicago. In 2011, Mr. Felty graduated from Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois with a Master of Church Music Degree where his major instrument was organ. Dr. Steven Wente was his former teacher. Prior to starting at St. Peter and Paul Catholic, he was the former organist and assistant director at First United Methodist Church in La Grange, Illinois where he worked with Gary Wilhelm. In addition to the Master of Church Music Degree, he also holds a Master of Music Degree in organ performance from Norfolk State University in Virginia where he studied with Dr. Allen Shaffer, retired professor of music.

Jeff  has emerged as a versatile and powerful musical force. His talents as an interpreter of new, old and diverse styles have made him uniquely suited to promoting new music, transcriptions and jazz improvisation during an exciting period for the saxophone. Some of Jeff’s most recent efforts in chamber music have proven fruitful. His saxophone quartet, the Estrella Consort recently returned from a nine-day tour of Ecuador and has been invited to perform in the prestigious Fischoff International Chamber Music Competition.  His trio, Trikaya, was awarded the 2012 Music Teachers of North America’s second prize for woodwind chamber music. Jeff played lead alto saxophone in the Arizona State University Concert Jazz Band and anchored the horn section of The JJ's, one of Phoenix's most popular bands. His abilities as a jazz artist and as a woodwind specialist earned him a position with the 2011 touring production of Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story.  He also conducted the Scottsdale Musical Theater Company production of Guys and Dolls. An avid proponent of New Music, Jeff has commissioned original scores from composers in Arizona, California, New York, Washington and China. He has premiered many new works for saxophone including his own soprano saxophone transcriptions of César Franck’s A Maj Violin Sonata and Olivier Messian’s Fantasy for Violin and Piano. The soon-to-be-published Franck transcription is already seeing use within the saxophone community.

I am an accomplished musician and artist with an uncanny ability to understand what children need and empathize with them. I have been learning music since age of 6. I have been taught piano, its techniques, and style, as well as music history from wonderful and talented musicians from all over Europe. I graduated from Art School in Poland. I have been performing in many European countries like Poland or Germany since I was 10.

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of performance. In 2011, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts/Performance. Performing all over the world has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I have had the opportunity to Conduct the World Vision Children's Choir in S. Korea and be a featured Tenor soloist in the summer music festival "Orvieto Musica" in Orvieto, Italy.
