The key to accomplished lesson program is to wrap the lessons around what a students interests are. For example, if you like rock, then you should study it intently, but also learn the theory of composition, scales, and chord patterns and progressions. Beyond that, rhythm and the development of a good ear for both pitch and style make up a good deal of what I do with my students. We will explore who YOU are as a singer and discover what repertoire works best for you. I structure warmups and learning vocal technique through classic vocal methods such as; Vaccai, Marchesi, and Garcia.
