I started playing the guitar and singing when I was nine years old when I received a Kmart guitar under the Christmas tree. I fell in love with it right away. I received a better guitar as a gift in my teens and wanted to learn all I could about the guitar and how to play it. I actually surpassed my music teachers in elementary middle and high school and taught myself much of what I know through materials available to me at the school.
