For beginning students I like to start with building good technique and posture and making sure that the fundamentals are practiced thoroughly. I grew up learning through the Suzuki Method and I like to teach that way as well. Suzuki said that any child could learn to play music because like a child learns language through listening, a child can also learn to play music the same way. With support from teachers and parents or guardians a child can become a successful and accomplished musician.
