I have been a musician for over 35 years. I have played all over the united states for concerts, different private occasions, weddings, birthday parties, and funerals . I have also been a music teacher for over 15 years and my students love my teaching style. When I was young I had the best private music teachers in New York that have pass on the knowledge and tradition of good music habits. I have taught all ages how to perform music. I have experience teaching from elementary ages through collegiate level students and beyond. I use positive reinforcement to get students motivated about practicing and I always want to put their musical interests as a top priority. I have found that if you let the student start their journey by playing genres they are familiar with, they are more likely to stick with their craft and explore more types of music. Read More

My methods vary between each student. For beginning students, that are not learning in a school setting, I typlically start with Hal Lenard's Essential Elements For Band. Once the student had progressed, I will start to introduce solo repetoire that the student will be instested in, which could be pop tunes or other type of music. This will encourage the student's passion for music to grow. If the student is in a school setting, then the student will work on all of the music for school and solo repetoire. Read More
