Hello! I just graduated from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music in 2019 with a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance. I have been in over 60 productions in my life, including concerts, operas, operettas, musical theatre performances, and talent shows. I absolutely love singing and am very excited for the opportunity to start teaching! I have had extensive training in my craft, and have been taking voice lessons for 12 years. I am classically trained, but am very interested in other genres, such as rock, punk, alternative, and musical theatre styles of singing. Read More

I find that consistency, high expectations, and respect are the key to helping my students succeed. But most importantly, I want my students to know that I care about them! Read More

Every individual is different and their understanding of rhythm, melodies, chord structure, and time signatures can vary even though the fundamental structure of music and theory is relatively the same. Instruments: Voice
It is an incredible moment when a student has that first "aha!" moment, and they realize that they DID have the ability in them to sing, all along! This kind of moment requires that a student be patient with theirself. Singing is an exciting, fulfilling journey, but it is also a long one. Our voices aren't just located in our throats, but they're our entire bodies. In order to sing well, we have to learn how to coordinate our entire body to work against as much negative tension as possible, and that takes work! Read More
