Our primary concern with beginners is being comfortable enough with the horn to be i complete control of the demands asked at this level. I have taught lessons since the beginning of college with all ages and learning types. Teaching has always been a passion of mine so I pursue it whenever I can. I taught lessons at both UAFS and DU during my time earning my degrees. My teaching experience began in 2006. During my college years I taught trombone to fellow students and later as a college instructor and high school band director, taught young adults. My experience as an elementary school teacher has rewarded me with skills to work with younger children. I now work with seasoned musicians as a mentor and coach. I have fun too.
