I most recently taught as a Brass Instructor at the Salvation Army Youth Education Town in Arlington, TX, where I worked with around 180 kids, ages 7-12, and directed three brass bands of varying skill. Higher skill levels will include developing the ear for pitch and rhythm, performing in real time and improvisation. Read More

I started my teaching career as a low brass tech for Putnam City West High School (my Alma Mater). Through teaching my former peers, I was able to understand the best ways to connect with students. I have now been a brass coordinator and specialist for the past 7 years using my techniques to build strong brass sections. I began my private instruction experience into my sophomore year of high school. Read More
