I start every student off the with basics, no matter what age. Fundamentals are a crucial skill that have to be correct if you plan to play great. We will work simple scales, articulations, and etudes to make sure the student is understanding the correct way to play which will lead to learning harder concepts easier and quicker. I have been a music teacher for over 25 years and have taught music at all levels from kindergarten through college both in the United States and abroad in the Caribbean, Japan, and Africa..
