I am a very passionate and goal oriented piano instructor. I talk with students and see what their goals are and what they would like to accomplish. I make sure it is a very fun motivating environment and the student feels comfortable and that they have many strong points.  I teach music theory to every student so they understand how to read music and get any answer they need. We work on the style of music they like and figure out a good balance for the lesson. Read More

Instruments: Piano

At the first lesson is just seeing where they are and what kind of music they would want to play(hymnal songs, gospel songs, soundtracks, opera, classical etc). Then at the beginning of each lesson would be theory(note recognition, counting, fingering etc). Then review on what they practiced for the week and if they are confident with the pieces add a few more songs. At Christmas time and the end of spring I like to have to have a recital for the students to play a few of the songs they learned for their friends and family.  Read More
