Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

With 30 years of woodwind teaching experience, I have taught all levels from elementary students to college and beyond! I encourage regular practice schedules of a half an hour five times a week. I have developed 15 practical practice techniques that are fun and advance the student at a steady pace. Also, I encourage my students to perform in small recitals biannually. Many of my students have gone on to win many awards such as Region/ All-State placements, festival first chairs and Solo and Ensemble State winners. Read More

For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Guitar Method One. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, including being able to read both staff and tab and have some basic playing technique , I will begin to introduce solo repertoire. For adult students, I like to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. Read More

I am and have been a passionate musical person. The moment I went into 6th grade and got the clarinet as my instrument, that was all I could focus on, and here we are. I am on my last year of my undergrad music education degree, at Texas AM University Kingsville. Teaching is something I am very passionate about.
