Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I want to give my student the experience of success from the start. With an appropriate printed resource, and audio recordings to listen to, they are equipped with the materials for self-study from the start. During the lesson itself, the student would be singing or playing at least half of the time. During this current stay-at-home lifestyle, I propose having lessons over Zoom. Depending on the instrument and skill levels of the student I have different methods. For guitarists I typically like to start by learning techniques and building strength in their fingers before we move into theoretical concepts. For pianists I begin with technique but with also teaching them the musical staff and getting them started with reading music. Ultimately my method depends on the individual needs of the student. Hello once again, I did mention a few things in my "introduction " letter. Well.... I started tap dance lessons at age 4. I started organ lessons at age 7. I joined school band playing drums at age 9. I started my private lessons with my mentor at age 11. I was in hight school concert, marching, and jazz bands. I won awards in jazz band.
