Nothing is more rewarding that seeing one of my students develop a love for music. Therefore, it is important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting goals that are realistic and acknowledge when a student has reached a particular goal. This helps the student to become more eager to learn, more willing to spent that time each day practicing. My teaching experience began back when I was a junior in college. I started working with 2 high schools in the Daytona Beach area in the marching arts as well as private lessons. Upon moving back home in the metro Atlanta area after graduating, I began doing various clinics for high schools in the Dekalb and Fulton county areas in preparation for the schools spring concert band festival.
