My goal isn't to teach music. My goal is to help my students grow to love music more, and teaching them music is just the means to that end. My one-on-one teaching style is very relaxed and personable. I get to know students as people, and let them get to know me. When in the field of Music Education, I do adhere strenuously to the Standards set forth by The Education Dept, which gives a clear understanding as to what they are supposed to learn during the Grade they have achieved. My lessons and objective come from those guidelines. I will not often deviate from it, although I will use my own discretion in determining how to meet the Standard. I began my first tour as a drummer when I was only 13 years old. Since then, I have gone on to tour with many bands. I am the writer and drummer for symphonic metal act Rapheumets Well. I can teach music theory, instrument blending, drumming, novice guitar, bass, as well as piano. I can teach the student how to play from building a deep principles in mechanics.
