I began playing drums in middle school as a hobby, but after playing in the marching band, concert band, and jazz band throughout High School I fell in love with drums and music and knew I wanted to pursue it as a career. I started lessons in Oakland, CA in dance, music and acrobats with Peggy and Leon Valdez and then tap performance and theater arts with Chorlene and Art Duane in Hayward, CA.
