I enjoy teaching all ages from the very beginning student to the more advanced students and can adapt my teaching methods accordingly. I feel each student learns differently and that we are all individuals with different personalities and learning styles. Unfortunately, I've dealt with insufficient instructors in the past, and nothing is worse than feeling like it's your fault when you mess up as a student. I have a minor in music Composition from The University of Colorado, as well as an associate degree in music production from Marymount Manhattan College, and I have technical performance training on guitar, piano, and vocals from The New York Conservatory of Music. For my voice students, I typically focus on their genre of music and teaching their goal in singing.
