I am an experienced music teacher with a background in rock, blues, and folk music. As a self-taught guitarist, drummer, and harmonica player, I have years of experience both teaching and performing music. After studying classical guitar, voice, and music education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, I graduated from Appalachian State university with a master's in guitar performance in August of 2022. My teaching style consists of building a report with my student while really using their interest as motivation. I set realistic goals while also challenging the student to achieve success. Each lesson will start with warm ups and guidance on how to reach the daily goal. When introducing a new concept I like to demonstrate and then have the student try what was modeled.
