Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

In my opinion, it is very important that the teacher understand each student's motivation for studying music. Hearing, and playing along with, recordings of lesson material will very much benefit intonation (tuning) and rhythm. For that reason, the Hal Leonard method books are very good; and the Suzuki books are excellent for repertoire, when the student has established a foundation. Although studying music literature is emphasized, lessons will usual consist of scales and arpeggios, technical studies, and repertoire. Read More

For younger beginners on piano I use the Hal Leonard series to start. For older piano students I use Faber Faber. For guitar and voice, I base my method on the students' interest. I have enjoyed playing, singing and accompanying vocally and on piano, organ and keyboard since the age of 7. I have both Choir and Solo vocal experience as well as played piano and organ for Churches and special performances. I'm a passionate and motivated teacher who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2017, I graduated from UTSA with a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. I worked closely with Opera San Antonio for several years. Then, in 2024 I graduated from UMKC with a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance. Performing all over the world has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to sing both with the New York Dramatic Voices as well as touring the United Kingdom with Music Across the Pond.
