I have a bachelors degree in Theatre Arts Studies from Brigham Young University and a Berklee Music Performance program certificate. I have 5 years of private teaching experience and have also taught vocal workshops and directed musical theater plays. I think it’s so important that students enjoy what they are doing so they have a desire to practice and work hard, so singing doesn’t become a chore. I approach teaching like nursing a baby ,u care for the baby,u feed the baby when hungry,u cover the babies body from catching cold , you teach the baby how to eat ,u hug the baby when he or she start crying, when she wants to go put her hand in the fire u stop her and tell her in advance what she’s going to experience.when she’s 18 you start to tell her to set goals and always drive hard to achieve them ,you tell her to never give up and be distracted by boys,you’d tell to always keep learning in life because the day you stop learning you start dying. I graduated in 2014 with my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Utah State University and, in 2018, my Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Kansas. I had the opportunity to be a part of the Chamber Singers at both schools where I was able to perform across Utah as well as Dallas, Kansas City, China and Costa Rica.
