My teaching experience dates back to my grad school years, as I began teaching private lessons part time in 1995. Since then, I have been teaching more and more students both privately and in school setting. I have taught in Park School, The Friends School in Baltimore area, and Towson University preparatory music department, and currently I'm a faculty in McDonogh School Private Music department. I also run studio recitals yearly and help my students rehearsing with the pianists to make their music complete and bring them up to their fullest performance level. Read More

Born to Taiwanese parents, I was raised in both Taiwan and the North Shore of Massachusetts. I began my violin studies at the age of ten and have since been an active solo, chamber, and orchestral musician. In my younger years, I was a member of the MMEA (Massachusetts Music Education Association) All-State orchestra as well as the Northeastern Senior Districts orchestra for which I was the principal second for two years. I use both the Suzuki method and the traditional method and sometimes I combine them into my own method to give the student what he/she needs. I method is just a way to achieve an end result.
