I started playing violin at the age of nine through my elementary schools string program. In addition to performing with the Discovery Middle School and Timber Creek High School orchestras, I participated every year in the all-county and all-state orchestras and served as associate concertmaster of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra. I completed a double major in general music and engineering at Northwestern University in Chicago.
