I have been teaching private music lessons for more than 30 years at my home and at my student's homes.  After I received my Master's degree I obtained my teaching certificate in vocal and instrumental music for grades K - 12.  I taught vocal music for the Jersey City Board of Education and later I taught strings for the  Kearny Board of Education.  I prepared students for auditions and recitals always encouraging them to practice and learn music theory and music history. I have taught violin and piano for the past 25 years to students age 4 and up. At Rowan University, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education.   I have performed with Bridgeton Symphony, Rowan University Orchestra, Lansing Symphony in Michigan and the Goodnight string quartet.   My teachers have included Bertram Greenspan-Rowan University, I-Fu Wang-Michigan State University and Nancy Jan-Bay-Atlantic Symphony.  Currently, I play violin with the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey. I enjoy performing in a string quartet for weddings and also chamber ensembles for various events in the area.
