I teach according to each students learning ability and I also love to challenge my students to help with their daily practice time. Depending on the level of advancement , we will determine the materials that is needed for each lesson. If its a beginner they will start on the basic learnings and fundamentals of music to help them better understand the lesson. I began teaching as soon as I enrolled in college. I was woodwind teacher from 2008-2010 for Dixie Heights high school marching band. In this role I was teaching in large group and one on one settings. In 2010 I was also hired to teach lessons for Boone County HS, another of the many NKY schools. I got my first experience teaching people who had little to no experience with the art form, and I had to navigate teaching students with varying skill levels. After college I began teaching beginning students how to play both saxophone and clarinet.
