I started teaching private music lessons 10 years ago before I attended college. Throughout college and after, I progressed and improved greatly as a musician, teacher and person. Then I will ask the student to sing vocal exercises to assess their aural skill level. Then from there I will have students sing a song or a few songs that showcase their artistic expression.
