Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

PIANO, FLUTE, SAXOPHONE and VOICE I have been active in the music industry for over 40 years as a teacher and performer, along with holding positions as musical director, arranger, accompanist, and in show production. Growing up near New York City gave me a wealth of opportunities for musical studies and experiences. I first studied with concert pianist Frank Giampolo for many years in Bridgeport, CT. He recognized my love of jazz and incorporated it, along with a classical repertoire, theory, harmony and arranging into my private studies. Read More

At the first lesson is just seeing where they are and what kind of music they would want to play(hymnal songs, gospel songs, soundtracks, opera, classical etc). Then at the beginning of each lesson would be theory(note recognition, counting, fingering etc). Then review on what they practiced for the week and if they are confident with the pieces add a few more songs. At Christmas time and the end of spring I like to have to have a recital for the students to play a few of the songs they learned for their friends and family. Read More

I started studying music at a very early age. When I was four years old, I started taking organ lessons, followed by piano when I was 7 years old. During elementary school, I started playing the clarinet. In middle school, I started playing the oboe. During high school, I learned the english horn and alto saxophone.
