As a student, I know the difficulties of overcoming bad habits. For this reason, my teaching focuses on establishing and correcting these bad habits so that the student can focus on what they want to do, play music. Practicing any instrument is not fun when there is no improvement. Read More

I am passionate about musical education. It is my belief that music is a gift to be shared - not just between instructor and student but also between the student and their community. Read More

I've been an instructor for piano, guitar, and drums for several years now. I fell into teaching by accident based on people passing my name around to others, but to my surprise I have enjoyed it all along the way. Teaching all different skill levels, songs, styles, and genres has been fun for both my students and myself. I'm a touring musician, recording artist, and music producer, so teaching on the side has been a perfect addition to my free time. Read More

Repertoire is often chosen based on the student's ability at the time. I will most likely start with repertoire from Easy Classics to Modern, and later add on repertoire that matches the student's style (such as jazz or R&B). Read More
