I have taught drum instruction and Jazz ensemble at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for 20 years. In addition I developed and implemented elementary music programs for K-5 thru 4th grade for schools in the NY vicinity. Upon moving to the Milwaukee area I have taught private and group instruction for the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Elementary Music K-5 thru 8th grade at St. Josaphat's school, Music Therapy and intergenerational activities at the Lutheran Home, private studio and now Musika. I began teaching in 2000, and since then have taught saxophones, flute, clarinet, improvisation, chord theory, piano / keyboard, basic music understanding to young children in a classroom setting, and coached worship teams and group seminars to all ages. It is a great joy to see students excel and expand as they take what they have learned into their own lives!
