I'm a independent freelance performance artist, sound engineer, and educator. I started teaching music and audio production in 2012. I graduated in 2016, and started pursuing a career in audio production in film. My personal philosophy is that anyone can play any instrument, as long as they pour their heart and soul into learning music. I consider myself a self taught multi-instrumentalist. I've always had a passion for challenging myself and learning new instruments. Read More

For beginning cello students who are children, I typically start with Suzuki method elements. : Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs.. bottom line I'm easy to work with. Read More

Teaching is something I naturally love doing, simply because I see it as an opportunity to share my interest and passion for a particular subject with someone, so that they may develop the same fondness for that subject. I believe the most important role of a teacher is to spark passion and curiosity in his student, hence my goal is to successfully demonstrate to my students why music is so amazing!I have about a year of teaching experience, tutoring high school students.I also have been teaching piano to my roommates and friends during my college, and have successfully hooked many of them to music.
