Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. I like to start students on method books such as Hal Leonard's Essential Elements, this will teach students basic music theory as well as how to read on a staff.
